We took a camping trip to visit our friends in Waupaca area and thought we would share a picture with you. It was a fabulous site and had a pond right out the rear of the Airstream! We were really wishing for one of those rear bedrooms just to look out the back window at the gorgeous view! The resort we stayed at was called the Blue Top Resort in Fremont, WI. The kids could go fishing right in the pond or in the lake or inlet on the other side of the Airstream. We were on a little island right on the the water! We had a wonderful time!
We're not familiar with this place, but it looks very nice. I checked out their website and see they have cottages, too. It's not the place I was thinking of when we talked about it on the phone. That place is east of the Wolf River bridge in Fremont, about a mile out of town and close to the Silverfield Cheese Factory. Years ago, it was known as Pitt's and all the cabins had blue roofs. Grandpa and Grandma spent the first night of their honeymoon there in 1936.
ReplyDeleteOur cousins in Germantown camp near Fremont several times a year. I asked them where, but haven't gotten a response yet.
Enjoy the remainder of the summer. Maybe you can make a trip to South Louisiana soon?
